Child Abuse Prevention Month is an important opportunity for communities across the nation to come together and address the serious issue of child abuse. This dedicated month encourages individuals and organizations to raise awareness about the signs and consequences of child abuse, fostering conversations that can lead to meaningful change.
On April 24, 2025, Safe Haven, Child Advocacy Services, and The Teal House will partner together in Statesboro to host the 5th Annual Blueming for Prevention event. The event will take place at the Luetta Moore Park, located at 525 MLK Dr. Statesboro, GA, at 11:30 am.
The event will feature several highlights, including keynote speakers, a Blue Pinwheel Ceremony, a resource table, and refreshments. "We believe that prevention is a community effort," said Kim Billings, Public Relations and Legal Services Director of Safe Haven. "By hosting Blueming for Prevention, we aim to inspire and empower individuals to take an active role in protecting our children and ensuring a safe environment for every family."
Blueming for Prevention is free and open to the public. Your participation can genuinely make a difference, and we look forward to collaborating and creating something special together!
