The Eagle offense tallied double digit hits (10) against Illinois State, the most since last season's 2-0 win over App State. Bailey Holland held #2 Florida to just four runs on eight hits. The Gators plated one run in the opening frame but were held scoreless until the bottom of the sixth inning plating three runs in the inning, to make it 4-0. Freshman Payton Cushman led Georgia Southern at the USF-Rawlings Invitational batting .375 (6-for-16) including three doubles.
GO TRUE BLUE
