Georgia Southern men's and women's basketball will both make their first appearance at Enmarket Arena in Downtown Savannah in December when the teams take the floor for a holiday hoops doubleheader on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
The Georgia Southern women's basketball team, a 20-win team and postseason participant a season ago, will host Hampton at 3 p.m. in the first game of the doubleheader. Georgia Southern men, led by first-year head coach Charlie Henry, will then host Florida Gulf Coast at 6 p.m. to complete the day's action.
Tickets are $10 for general admission, $15 for club seating and $30 for courtside seating. One ticket is good for both games of the doubleheader. This event is not included in either team's Georgia Southern season ticket package.
Parking is $10 in advance and $15 the day of.
All purchases (tickets & parking) must be made through the Enmarket Arena website and will go on sale on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m.
Enmarket Arena opened in February of 2022 and has a seating capacity of 7,500 for basketball. The venue is the home of the ECHL Savannah Ghost Pirates professional hockey team and, for the past two years, has also hosted the Hostilo Hoops Classic in November.
