Mr. Stoney Lee Keelin, Sr., age 54, died on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Landmark Hospital in Savannah, GA. The Claxton, GA native had lived in Bulloch County for most of his life. Stoney worked as a Groundskeeper and carpenter with Twin Oaks Farm and Vineyard. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and siblings. Stoney loved the outdoors, gardening, and especially his flowers. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Keelin Jr. and Elise Keelin; three sisters Judy Jones, Diane Mincey and Cheryl Brown.
Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Belinda Kight of Statesboro; a daughter Stormy Mae Keelin of Soperton, GA; two sons Stoney Lee (Lacie) Keelin, Jr., of Clito, GA and Brayden Barner of Stilson, GA; two grandchildren Dallas Woodrum and Paislee Woodrum; five sisters Thersia (Leland) Brown, Sharon (Julio) Segura, Norma Jean Keelin (Roberto Santos), Kay (Ignacio Juarez) and Melissa Keelin; two brothers Ricky (Teresa) Keelin and Norman (Teresa) Keelin; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside funeral service and burial will be held on Wednesday March 12th at 2:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 5154 Old Hwy 250, Claxton, GA 30417 with Rev. Ignacio Juarez officiating.
