Ms. Mary J. Mingle, age 63, died on October 13, 2024 at her residence.
The St. Augustine, FL, native lived in Florida and Texas for many years before moving to Bulloch County in 1985. Mary worked as a courier driver for many years and was a homemaker. She was a great cook and was known for her pork chops. She was preceded in death by her parents J.W. Howell and Betty Williams Howell.
Surviving is her husband of 22 years Michael McCarty of Statesboro; two sons Marcus (Bridget) Mingle of Charleston, SC and Curtis (Jessica) Mingle of Summertown, GA; two grandchildren Hunter Mingle and Payton Mingle, her Chihuahua’s Lady Bug, Roxie and Layla; also several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
A private graveside service and burial will be held at the M& M Cemetery with Rev. Jody Bryant officiating.
