Jerry Allen Taylor

May 11, 1963  -  September 28, 2024

Jerry Taylor, age 61, passed away and entered into heaven on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at his home in Statesboro, under the care of Regency SouthernCare Hospice. He attended technical school for paint and body and mechanic work. Jerry was a jack of all trades and was known for his fighting spirit. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being in his boat. Jerry loved his children, grandchildren, and three dogs and attended Landmark Holiness Church in Brooklet. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Taylor, his father, Marvin Ernest Taylor, and his brother, Marvin “Mo” Taylor.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Taylor, his sisters, Cindy Taylor, Ernestine Akins, Sandra Wise, and Katherine Key, his brother, Robert Taylor, his son, Josh (Katie) Taylor and their three boys, Elijah, Isaiah, and Noah, his son Joey and his two children, Lindsay and Allen, as well as multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family is very appreciative of the care provided by Regency SouthernCare Hospice.

Private services will be held at a later date.
