Mr. Jason Earl Cooper, age 41, died Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Jason was born in Savannah and raised in Bulloch County. He attended Statesboro High School. Jason worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator.
In his spare time, Jason enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting
Jason preceded his father, Donald Earl Cooper, in death. Donald died the following day. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Cooper and his maternal grandparents, Bobby and Kay Newton.
Surviving are his children, Hunter Cooper (Avery), Lake Cooper and Waylon Cooper; his mother and step father, Wanda and Guy Sharp; his soulmate, Tanner Callahan; two brothers, Cody Cooper and Wayne Sharp(Josie); a step sister, Kayla Glover; Paternal grandmother, Jackie Cooper; two nephews, Tucker Cooper and Myers Sharp; 3 nieces, Leah, Mya and Brooke Glover; his step grandmother, Marlene Sharp; aunts and uncles, Ronny and Jennifer Newton, Tim Cooper (Tonya), Tony Cooper (Debbie), Sandy Teems and Melissa Sharp and cousins, Jeremy Teems, Chase Newton, Chan Newton. Several other cousins and extended family also survive.
The family will have a” Celebration of Jason’s life” at a later date.
