Brian Duaine Lang

Mr. Brian Duaine Lang, 55, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, suddenly from a pre-existing medical condition. Brian was born April 16, 1969, in Denver City, TX to Robert and Carolyn Lang. Brian graduated from Summersville High School in Summersville, MO in 1989. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1990 and was deployed during the Desert Storm Campaign. While in the Army he was awarded the Kuwait Liberation Medal and a SW Asia Service Medal. He was honorably discharged as an SPC E4 in 1994. He continued his service to his country through the Georgia Army National Guard and worked for a Civil Service company in Hinesville, GA. He worked at Briggs & Stratton and most recently as a maintenance technician at Georgia Southern University. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, work ethic, and always being there for anyone who needed him. Brian is preceded in death by his father Robert Lang, and his dad Ray Johnston.

Brian is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Angela (Robertson) Lang of Statesboro, GA, and his mother Carolyn Johnston also of Statesboro, GA. His sister Tonya Summers and her husband Cale Summers of St. Charles, MO., his sister Angela Morris of Mineral Wells, TX, and two nephews, Tyler Lang, and Trapper Channer both of Mineral Wells TX. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 4th 2024, from 12:30pm until 2:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
