Bobby Brown passed away peacefully at his home in Vero Beach, Florida on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Bobby was born on December 4, 1931, in Garfield, Georgia. He attended his primary and early education at Emmanuel County Institute in Twin City, Georgia. From there he went to college at Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, Georgia. After attending college in Statesboro, he joined the Air Force where he trained at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas and went on to become an AF Pilot being stationed at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida, and flying numerous missions overseas.

During his tenure at MacDill AFB, in 1956, Bobby married his precious childhood sweetheart, Edna Charlotta Tapio, who he had known since he was a young boy. After his Air Force years, he went on to attend University of Georgia receiving his pharmaceutical degree. After a brief time at Stauffer Chemical Company he was hired to be a pharmacist for the Walgreen Drug Company. He soon worked his way up to becoming a manager and then a District Manager for Walgreens. He worked most of his life for the Walgreen Company where he kept the stores in tip top shape!

Bobby was predeceased by his Father, Joseph Emerson Brown, his Mother Dorothy Parrish Gay and his Step-Mother, Johnnie Brown. Also, his brother, Bill Brown, and his sisters, Bernice McCullough and Betty Fagler.
