Trinity Episcopal announces Lenten Lecture Series

As part of the activities of the 'Green Team' at Trinity Episcopal Church, the church will be offering the Lenten Lecture Series on Creation Care and Sustainability issues.

The Creation Care: A Lenten Speaker series will take place at the Trinity Episcopal Church on Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., there will be a soup and sandwich dinner provided followed by the lecture at 6:30 p.m. 

The series includes:

  • March 2: Father Charles Todd, Rector, Trinity Episcopal Church
  • March 9: Lisa D. Watson, Avant Gardner A Creative Exploration of Imperiled Species
    • Location change: Exhibit opening at the Averitt Center for the Arts
  • March 16: Green the Boro: What Future Do You Want For Our Community? Lissa Leege and Carolyn Altman, City of Statesboro, Greener Boro Comission
  • March 23: Potential Water Resorce Impacts from Development Boom, Damon Mullis, Ogeechee Riverkeeper
  • March 30: Scaling Back from the Global to the Local - Elimination as Climate Change Adaptation, Dr. Helen Rosko, GS Dept. of Geology and Geography
