The Statesboro Kiwanis Rodeo is saddling up for their 14th year, bringing three nights of thrilling rodeo action to the Bulloch County Agricultural Complex from April 24th-26, 2025. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., with the main event kicking off at 7:30 p.m.
Expect heart-pounding competitions, including Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, and Team Roping, plus interactive events like the Wheelbarrow Race and Calf Scramble. Fans can also meet Miss Rodeo USA, Megan Kelly, and enjoy delicious food and shop western gear from local vendors. “The Statesboro Kiwanis Rodeo is a celebration of community spirit! Bringing people together, supporting local causes, and keeping traditions alive, the rodeo makes a lasting impact while delivering an unforgettable experience for all,” said Rodeo Chair Stan Akins.
“What people often don’t realize is that this rodeo isn’t just an amazing event, it’s a fundraiser for the community of Bulloch County,” said Rodeo Co-Chair Jenni Kight. “Proceeds support numerous local organizations, so the money raised stays right here in our community.”
The rodeo is produced by Hedrick Rodeo Company, a nationally recognized contractor known for bringing top-tier rodeo action to audiences across the country.
“I’ve been working this rodeo since it began 14 years ago, and its success comes from the incredible support of the community. This past year, we were able to add a third show, making the event a three-day affair, and we could not be more excited to continue that this year,” said Danny Hedrick of Hedrick Rodeo Company. “When I talk to the talent, everyone tells me that Statesboro is one of their favorite rodeos because the people are so welcoming and make us feel at home. We can’t wait to see new and familiar faces at this year’s Statesboro Kiwanis Rodeo.”
Rain or shine, the rodeo will go on! The covered arena ensures that guests can enjoy all the action regardless of the weather.
