The 33rd annual Southern Cruisers Spring Classic Car Show will raise funds to support two local children facing serious medical challenges. Scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds, the event will bring together car enthusiasts from across the region to showcase a variety of vehicles, including classic restorations, custom builds, motorcycles, and tractors.

Each year, the nonprofit Southern Cruisers organization hosts this charity event to assist families dealing with significant medical expenses.

This year’s beneficiaries are four-year-old Sydney Walker of Twin City, recently diagnosed with leukemia, and eight-week-old Amdyn "Scottie" Aldrich of Statesboro, who was born with a congenital heart defect called Truncus Arteriosus. Scottie has already undergone two open-heart surgeries within her first week of life and will require additional procedures in the future.

More than 200 vehicles are expected at the show, which begins with participant registration at 8 a.m. Judging will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by door prize giveaways from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event concludes with an awards ceremony at 3 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, while children under 12, military families with identification, and visitors with disabilities will be admitted free of charge.

Awards will be given to the top 40 entries, along with dash plaques and specialty trophies. The event will also feature a Car Corral with vehicles for sale, a silent raffle, a 50/50 cash drawing, concessions, and more. To maintain a family-friendly atmosphere, personal music will not be allowed, as event-wide music will be provided.

Vehicle registration is $25 per entry, while participation in the Car Corral is $10 per vehicle. Vendor booths, including Swap Meet spaces, are available for $50. To reserve a space, call (912) 764-3523 or (912) 541-0428.

Southern Cruisers members will have their vehicles on display but will not participate in judging.
