Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Commissioner Greg Dozier has appointed Ogeechee Technical College Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Ryan Foley as Interim President of Savannah Technical College.
“Dr. Foley brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to excellence in higher education,” said TCSG Commissioner, Greg Dozier. “With his extensive leadership background in the Technical College System of Georgia, Dr. Foley is well-suited to guide Savannah Technical College at this time.”
Dr. Foley has nearly 20 years of experience at Ogeechee Technical College, where he began his career in technical education as a Human Resource Coordinator. Over the years, Dr. Foley has been Director for Enrollment Services, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.

Foley holds a bachelor’s degree in management and a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia Southern University. He also earned his Doctor of Education Degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Georgia.
Foley assumed his role as Interim President on March 13, 2024.
