Statesboro Police Department Detectives who are investigating the June 14, 2023 shooting of a 39 year old Statesboro man in Groover Homes received word that the suspect had been arrested.
Travis Marquis Webb (39, Mikell Street, Statesboro) had active warrants for Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon as well as for Parole Violation.
Detectives believed that he had fled the area and turned the warrants over to the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force for service.
On Monday, December 2023, U.S. Marshals Task Force Agents located Webb in Augusta, Ga and arrested him.
Webb was returned to the Bulloch County Jail where he remains pending further judicial action.
