Summer Kid’s Club taking place at the Statesboro Mall

Hosted by Statesboro Regional Public Libraries, this year's Summer Kids Club at the Statesboro Mall is going to be a fun and engaging event series where children can participate in a variety of interactive activities that stimulate their imagination!

See the dates and activity plans below. Each one will begin at 10:30am.

  • June 4: Adventure Storytime & Craft - Children and their families will join library staff in reading "Explorers of the Wild by Cale Atkinson," and "Bear Came Along" by Richard T. Morris, illustrated by LeUyen Pham, followed by a lot of fun songs and rhymes. There will be fun crafts like a bear mask and tree sun captures after storytime!
  • June 11: Coloring Event - Create and color large adventure and treasure maps! Additional coloring sheets and doodle activities will be available.
  • June 18: STEM Day - Learn how to make secret message bracelets using pony beads, plus how to solve riddles and treasure hunting clues by making a decoder ring.
  • June 25: Craft-a-palooza - Join for a guided activity using WikkiStix (non-toxic wax sticks). There will also be additional craft projects to choose from using items such as popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, paper plates, and construction paper.
