Rolling Monkey celebrates 6 sweet years of inspiring the community with birthday bash benefiting local youth

This November, Rolling Monkey will celebrate its sixth anniversary with a community-wide birthday celebration, a heartfelt gathering set to inspire, connect, and give back. On November 10th, from 12-4 PM, the locally cherished "Inspiration Station" will host its annual birthday bash, complete with family-friendly fun, games, giveaways, and a commitment to uplifting the lives of Statesboro’s youth through charitable giving.

A portion of every purchase will be dedicated to creating holiday gifts for the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County, a gesture of gratitude to the community that has nurtured and supported Rolling Monkey's growth over the past six years.

The event will feature face painting, trivia, and activities that capture the joyful essence of Rolling Monkey, reminding everyone that this celebration is about more than just ice cream; it’s a tribute to the community that has embraced Rolling Monkey’s mission of “Inspiring People who Inspire the World.”

Every guest who walks through the doors on November 10th will be part of a special day dedicated to family, connection, and generosity.

Since its opening in 2018, Rolling Monkey has grown beyond a simple ice cream shop to become a beloved community cornerstone, built on the faith and vision of founders Garrett and Meagan Clark. Both graduates of Georgia Southern University, Garrett and Meagan set out to create more than just an ice cream experience; they wanted to build a place where each individual could feel a sense of joy, purpose, and belonging.

The shop’s mission, grounded in the founders' Christian beliefs coupled with the Japanese concept of Ikigai - a “reason for being”- has fostered an environment where team members, customers, and community members alike are encouraged to explore their potential and give back to others.

“Each year, we’re blessed to see our community come together to celebrate Rolling Monkey, not just for our anniversary, but for the values we share,” Garrett Clark said. “We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to make an impact here in Statesboro, where our faith in each other and in the good we can accomplish together grows stronger every day. Each year, we have chosen to honor that gratitude by supporting the Boys and Girls Club, an organization that means so much to us and aligns beautifully with our mission to uplift and inspire.”

Every guest has the opportunity to give back to Bulloch County, as well. For every T-Shirt sold between November 7th and November 10th, a portion will directly benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County, allowing Rolling Monkey to bring Christmas cheer to local youth. This collaboration has become a beloved tradition for Rolling Monkey, each year providing gifts that foster joy and hope for our future leaders.

The event is open to all, and Rolling Monkey invites families, friends, and community members of all ages to come enjoy an afternoon filled with laughter, connection, and the warmth of shared purpose. In addition to creating unforgettable memories, each guest who participates will help spread the shop’s mission of inspiration, which touches the lives of Statesboro residents every day.

“We believe that every child deserves to feel valued and loved, especially during the holidays,” Meagan Clark said. “It’s humbling to know that Rolling Monkey can help make a difference, and we couldn’t do it without this wonderful community’s support. Statesboro has given so much to us, and we are here today because of the kindness and belief you have shown us since day one.”

This milestone celebration marks six years of creating to inspire, six years of unwavering support from a community that Rolling Monkey considers family. As Rolling Monkey looks to the future, they aim to continue their legacy of service, love, and inspiration, helping to shape a brighter tomorrow for Statesboro’s children and families.
