Purchase ad space on moving billboard to support youth scholarships

The "moving billboard" on the R&S Packing & Moving Trailer

Shelby and Roosevelt Cone Jr.’s R&S Packing and Moving is teaming up with The Roosevelt Cone Jr. Scholarship Foundation to sell advertising spots on a trailer that is used by the moving team.

Each week, the trailer will be used to assist with moves throughout Bulloch County, so it will be visible to new homeowners in our community. Last October, the trailer was pulled in the annual Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair Parade through downtown Statesboro.

Each advertising spot costs $200 to set up and an additional $50 per month, with 100% of proceeds going to the non-profit Roosevelt Cone Jr. Scholarship Foundation.

This organization helps fund tuition for youth programs, camps, and other organized activities that help shape children into successful adults.

The scholarship fund benefits youth in our community by helping them to participate in sports like basketball, cheerleading, and football, through financing and providing the equipment that the kids need to take part in their activities.

Both R&S Packing and Moving, and Mr. Roosevelt’s Attic allocate proceeds to the scholarship, so supporting these businesses also helps to fund these activities for local children.

Check out The Roosevelt Cone Jr. Scholarship Foundation Facebook page for more information about their numerous current fundraisers and how you can help children in our community participate in character building activities.
