One person has died from a Wednesday, October 26, 2023 afternoon crash in Register, GA and three others were transported to EGRMC.
Richard Pylant, Bulloch County Coroner has identified the deceased female passenger as Paige Shores, 35 with a Rincon, GA address.
At 3:55 pm Bulloch County 911 dispatched Bulloch County EMS, Bulloch Fire and Rescue, Bulloch Sheriff's Deputies and GSP Troopers to a serious two vehicle crash at Kennedy Bridge Road and Ada Bell Road in Register, GA in Bulloch County.
According to GSP Sergent Robbie Scott a Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling east on Ada Bell road approaching the Kennedy Bridge Road intersection. A Chevrolet Malibu was traveling south on Kennedy Bridge Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Kennedy Bridge and Ada Bell.
The front of the pickup truck struck the Malibu on the passenger side. The Malibu left the roadway and struck a utility pole. There were two occupants in each of the vehicles. All four occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
Bulloch County EMS Paramedics first arriving on the scene requested additional ground and air ambulances. Air Evac and Lifestar helicopters both were dispatched for a scene landing.
The female passenger of the Malibu was in critical condition and paramedics decided to transport her by ground to EGRMC. Two additional Bulloch County EMS ambulances responded to the scene transporting the driver of the Malibu and the driver and passenger of the pickup truck to area hospitals.
Medical helicopters that arrived on the scene did not transport any of the crash victims.
The female passenger of the Malibu was pronounced dead at EGRMC.
GSP Sergent Robbie Scott and GSP Master Trooper Chris Cuddington are handling the crash investigation.
