Multiple Arrests Made in Statesboro Drug Bust

Mulberry Street home raided by CST team in Statesboro

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Team (CST) conducted an investigation into the illegal sale of controlled substances occurring at and around a residence on South Mulberry Street in the city limits of Statesboro, GA.

The investigation led to a search warrant being obtained and executed on April 21, 2025 by CST Investigators and BCSO K9 Deputies. The search warrant yielded quantities of marijuana, prescription pills, psilocybin mushrooms, US Currency, and numerous firearms and edged weapons.

As a result, the following persons were arrested and taken to the Bulloch County Jail:

David Elijah George

Charges include:

  • Sale of Marijuana (4 Counts)
  • Unlawful Use of Communication Facility (4 Counts)
  • Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Schedule I with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Firearm or Knife During Commission of Certain Felonies (6 Counts)
  • Possession of Drug Related Objects

 

Taylor Edward Thornhill

Charges include:

  • Possession of Schedule II
  • Possession of Firearm During Commission of Certain Felonies (5 counts)
