Meet Maurice Jackson, managing partner of the new Statesboro Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse has introduced the owner-operator and managing partner of its new Statesboro location, a well known name in the restaurant industry and a Bulloch County native, Maurice Jackson.

Jackson has been with Texas Roadhouse for 7 years already and was previously in management at the Pooler location. He says he is looking forward to returning "home" with the Statesboro location.

Let me start by saying that my restaurant career has taken me in many directions over the years, and I am truly delighted to finally be back home! I am thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new Texas Roadhouse.

As the new Managing Partner, I am excited to bring a fresh dining experience to our beloved community.

After years of speculation, a few near misses, and a multitude of construction delays, the new Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Statesboro is nearly complete. The restaurant, located at 24024 U.S. Highway 80 East, is gearing up to employ a staff of 220 and is currently in the process of hiring for all full and part-time positions.

Statesboro's Texas Roadhouse is expected to open its doors for dining and To-Go orders on August 26.

The 8,900-square-foot steakhouse will offer a menu featuring a wide range of options, including steaks, chicken, salads, hamburgers, and vegetables.  Jackson says his personal favorite menu item is the 8oz salmon smothered with grilled shrimp.

Once operational, the Texas Roadhouse in Statesboro will serve dinner only from Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10pm, and will be open for lunch and dinner on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11am to 10pm.

With over 700 restaurants across the United States, Texas Roadhouse has established itself as a popular dining destination known for its delicious food and lively atmosphere. The new establishment in Statesboro will join the ranks of the closest franchises located in Pooler, Savannah, and Augusta, bringing the brand's signature flavors and hospitality to the local community.
