In memory of Lennon Kaye Sammons, or “Lenny Lou” as her mother and father, Layne and John Sammons often called her, a tee-shirt fundraiser has been created through Helpful Tees to not only share in the remembrance of Lennon, but to also shine a light on her major organ donations that have helped four children across the country.
Lennon Kaye Sammons, born August 16, 2024, was described by her family as a social butterfly full of giggles who never knew a bad day or a stranger. She loved spending time cuddling with her parents, petting her animals, and watching her favorite show, “Dancing Fruit”. Though only getting to spend six months with Lennon before her passing, her family says she changed their hearts, perspectives, and outlooks for the better.
Lennon not only impacted her family’s life for the better but also the lives of four other families across America. Lennon was able to donate her big, sweet heart and three other major organs, which went to four children across the country. Through her heroic donation, the recipients can live much healthier lives, and their families can hold them for so much longer. It warms her family and friends' hearts to know that somewhere out there, her sweet heart is still beating, and that is what will carry them through the days to come.
In support of her strong parents, all proceeds from the tee-shirt fundraiser will go towards finances as they mourn their sweet baby.
