Georgia Southern VCC to host fall break camp for gamers in Statesboro

Calling all gamers! From October 14 to 18, a special gaming camp will be held at Georgia Southern's Virtual Collaboration Center (98 Georgia Ave., Statesboro, GA). The camp is designed for kids ages 12-18 to explore their passion for gaming.

Campers will enjoy a mix of board games, card games, tabletop games, and video gaming on consoles and PCs. The camp will also focus on online safety and provide a space for campers to share their thoughts on different gaming genres.

Camp Details

  • Dates: October 14 – 18
  • Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Drop-off between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.; Pick-up from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
  • Registration Fee: $125
  • Registration Deadline: October 11, 2024

The goal of the Virtual Collaboration Center is to create an experiential learning tool that offers students a space where they can:

  • Teach competitiveness and overcoming adversity
