Fostering Bulloch (officially known as Fostering Families Inc.) is continuing its work in expanding the 7th Mile Farm in preparation for its 2024 Summer Camps.
The 7th Mile Farm is a 30-acre activity and retreat center built to serve Georgia’s children in foster care. Fostering Families regularly holds annual summer camps at the 7th Mile Farm to provide foster youth with an unforgettable camp experience.
Chris Yaughn (Founder/Director at Fostering Families Inc.) and his team at Fostering Families are dedicated to ensuring that each foster kid gets the “ROCKSTAR” camp experience, while striving to never turn away kids due to lack of capacity.

"In 2023, the 7th Mile Farm hosted over 80 children in foster care at overnight summer camps," stated Yaughn. "In an effort to increase the quality and capacity of those camps, we are adding a 5,700 square-foot activity center. The building was slated for demolition in Savannah but has been relocated to the 7th Mile Farm. It will add pavilion activity space, as well as large climate-controlled indoor space for meetings and events."
"This will be the second time in our campground's history that a large commercial building has been given its second lease on life and put to work serving children in foster care," he continued. "Donations are needed to fund interior build out work (i.e. drywall, flooring, paint etc.) and interested parties can reach out via our new website at fosteringfamiliesga.com."
