Former GS Women's Basketball Coach and Local author Kip Drown is marking his first publishing foray with the release of ‘More: Desire More and Experience More. A Game Plan for Spiritual Growth’.
The book is published by WestBow Press and focuses on inspiring and encouraging Christians everywhere to accept the challenge given by Christ more than 2,000 years ago on that Thursday night in Jerusalem during Passover.
The Gospel of John, chapters 13 to 17, records Christ’s final words to the apostles that night. God said, “Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”
This book gives a game plan for how to go about achieving spiritual growth in one’s life. It is composed of five biblical fundamentals that will guide Christians in their journey to grow in their relationships with the Lord.
With the excessive noise in people’s lives today, this book will serve as a helpful guide in the day-to-day life of a believer.
When asked what he wants readers to take away from the book, Drown says, “A hunger to become more in their relationship with God and a renewed commitment to making spiritual growth a great priority in their lives.”
Drown draws on a wealth of expertise acquired across his 41-year career as a basketball coach, educator, and motivational speaker, as well as six decades of walking with the Lord to bring everyone this book.
‘More: Desire More and Experience More. A Game Plan for Spiritual Growth’ by Kip Drown is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Drown and his wife Gina live in Statesboro. They have five children and 11 grandchildren.
