On Saturday, August 10, 2024, N Shape Fitness Center hosted a FitnessMania event, which included pro wrestling, tours, and membership specials. N Shape owners Randy and Tommy Lewis organized the event to reintroduce their state-of-the-art facility to the community, alongside neighbor The FIX Studio.
The afternoon also included another exciting round of APW Wrestling.
Announcer Ansleigh the Intern and Cujo’ welcomed everyone to the event. The evening kicked off with Cujo and former champ Tim Humphrey, but the action quickly escalated when APW Heavyweight Champion Country Clay refused to wrestle. Commissioner Lil T stepped in, announcing that Clay’s opponent would be the winner of the upcoming N Shape Fitnessmania Battle Royal.
The battle royal was nothing less than jam-packed. Seven men entered, but one man stood tall. Former Georgia Southern standout Cooper won the battle royal and looked to challenge Country Clay for the champion spot later in the evening.
Up next, "The Goth Mami" Ravyn took on fan-favorite BiiBii in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Ravyn upset the crowd by getting two pinfalls over BiiBii.
D.L. Rolf & Phil DeCarlo w/Randa Lynn pinned the Fam JJ the Wrestling Engineer & Baby Dee to retain their APW Tag Champions.
Tim Humphrey & Cujo' defeated T-Beaux & Amor in a Classic Tag Team match. Albert Exley was the special ref. Furious with his partner walking out on him, T-Beaux called The FIX owner Terrell out to the ring. Terrell, standing 6'4" and a chiseled 275 pounds, taught T-Beaux a lesson in respect and body slammed him hard to the mat to the delight of the crowd.
Returning from the battle royal, Cooper looked to defeat Country Clay to become the new APW Heavyweight Champion. These two have no love lost for each other. The match had hard-hitting, chest chops, and Cooper -- being a former football player -- used his speed and intensity. But sometimes good things come to an end, and Country Clay spit water in the eyes of Cooper and was able to roll him up for the one, two, three.
In the main event, JC Black beat Gemma Jewels. After the match, BiiBii came out to congratulate JC Black on her victory, just to turn on her. She screamed that she didn’t like losing earlier in the night, so she took her anger out on Black, ending the evening as a sore loser.
