City hiring for new coordinator of Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful

The City of Statesboro is looking to hire a new Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful Coordinator. The ideal candidate would have a passion for beautification and sustainability in our area.

KSBB strives to educate and empower citizens and businesses with the resources needed to facilitate litter prevention, beautification, and waste reduction within the city of Statesboro and surrounding areas, and the coordinator administers and coordinates all programs, financial, public relations, fundraising, and volunteer or personnel activities for KSBB. 

The salary for the position is $52,803.49 per year.

Examples of Duties

  • Oversees grassroots community program to promote litter prevention, beautification, community involvement, and solid waste minimization and manages the day-to-day operations of the organization.
  • Maintains and trains Advisory Board for continued operation of non-profit organization.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
  • Develops relationships with government agencies, school districts, businesses, civic organizations, and media in order to encourage participation in community events.
  • Represents the organization and its committees at meetings, forums, and workshops.
  • Develops and interprets policies and procedures for programs and events.
  • Develops programs for public awareness, fund development, education, and special events. 
  • Oversees the administration of the annual budget including grants and contracts.
  • Coordinates and promotes relevant Keep America Beautiful programs.
  • Prepares annual and semi-annual reports to maintain certification in local, state, and national programs including conducting annual cost/benefit analysis and litter index.
  • Maintains knowledge of and relationships with industries and associations to be responsive to emerging trends that impact the organization.
  • Collaborates with City staff and external partners to organize and implement events.
