The Savannah Book Festival will run from Friday, February 7 to Sunday, February 9, 2025 at a host of historical sites across Savannah. The 2025 event marks the 18th year for the festival, which features more than 40 authors. The festival typically sees about 9,000 attendees each year.
One of the Festival’s highlights, Festival Saturday, on February 8 is free and open to the public. Festival Saturday features solo author presentations in seven venues throughout the downtown area, as well as book signings, food trucks, and more.
These Festival Saturday presentations take place in museums, churches, and theaters in and around the historic Telfair and Chippewa Squares in the heart of Downtown Savannah. The lineup of nationally-recognized authors from wide-ranging genres give 30-minute solo presentations on their creative process, followed by a Q&A and book signing. You can meet the authors here.

Headliner addresses at the festival are ticketed events presented in the Historic Lucas Theatre in Downtown Savannah. Headliners give a 45-minute presentation on their creative process and life as a writer, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Sponsors and Literati members receive guaranteed access to Headliner Addresses. As of Thursday, February 5, two of the three headliner presentations are sold out. Tickets to Ben Mezrich's closing address are still available.
