BES student Amayah Moore wins International Junior Miss Junior Pre-Teen

Brooklet Elementary third-grader Amayah Moore, 9-year-old daughter of Vincent and Kimberly Moore and sister of Kamera Moore of Statesboro, GA, has earned the prestigious title of International Junior Miss Junior Pre-Teen.   

Along with outstanding young girls from across the world, Amayah traveled to Orlando, Florida, November 17-26, 2023, for the highly anticipated International Pageant. Representing Georgia, Amayah competed in interview, evening gown, and fun fashion to claim the honor of being crowned International Royalty and will receive more than $25,000 in cash scholarships and sponsored prizes throughout her year of reign.

Amayah captured two previous National Titles: 2022 Miss Elementary America 2nd Grade and 2021 USA Elite Little Miss. She has received several awards including Beauty It’s Everywhere Youth of the Year.

Through pageantry, Amayah signed with MMG and has booked paid modeling work including showroom modeling and print for Carter's and Elf on the Shelf.

Amayah was one of ten girls selected from all over to be an Ambassador for National retailer, Evsie by Maurices, with the mission to be a youth leader spreading kindness. Amayah is a competitive Level 4 Gymnast at Coman Gymnastics and is a member of the Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Amayah plans to continue to promote her platform, “Moore Helping Hands,” to encourage kindness and inspire others to help those in need, speak to youth about bullying, and volunteer with various organizations throughout the community.
