The Averitt Center for the Arts welcomes you to celebrate its 20th anniversary of business with a Grand Reception & Theatrical Showcase on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 7-9pm.
This eloquent evening will boast beautiful scenery with floral decorations from their community partner, Frazier’s Flowers, and for refreshments, they're providing finely selected hors d'oeuvres catered by Linens Cakes & Catering.
To commemorate 20 years since the doors first opened, they are shining a light on one of the cornerstones of the Averitt Center: their theater department.
Seasoned actor and director, Lee Walker, will host guests for the evening with a series of entertaining performances from Broadway’s biggest hits through the ages. This spectacular showcase will star a stellar cast of experienced actors and musicians who’ve made quite a name for themselves in the local community.
