APW Floorapalooza: All is fair in love and wrestling

Miss Randa Lynn gets revenge on JJ the Wrestling Engineer for disturbing her proposal

On October 12, 2024, the first-ever FLOORAPALOOZA wrestling event at the Floors Outlet Warehouse in Statesboro kicked off with a sizable and eager crowd.

Owners Brian “Ronnie” McDonald and “P-Squared” opened the event alongside Commish Lil T and Production Manager ASAP. The event was refereed by Zack and Craig, with a little help from Blake Williams from Grice Connect as the official timekeeper. Ansleigh the Intern kept the energy going by running the soundboard throughout the event.

Emerald Match: Albert Exley vs. AMOR

. Blake Williams

Despite coming out and complaining about his hand, Albert Exley managed to come out on top, defeating AMOR in a solid opening match. The stipulation of the match was that AMOR could not touch Exley's hand during the match, which led to Exley taking advantage at every chance.

JJ the Wrestling Engineer vs. Lock Jaw

JJ the Wrestling Engineer pinned Lock Jaw after a heated back-and-forth. Before the match, Da Boss made his surprise return, aligning himself with the absent APW Heavyweight Champion Country Clay, who failed to appear due to what’s being described as “arrogance.”

It was announced later that if Clay doesn't show up to the next event, he will be stripped of his title.

Cujo presented his trainee, Cam, a rising star with potential despite her inexperience. However, Chellez interrupted, challenging Cam to a match. Cam accepted, but Chellez quickly dominated, leaving Cam little room to showcase her skills. Showing the most disrespect possible, Chellez carried Cam's battered body over to Cam's mother and sat her in her lap.

Hair vs. Beard Match: Tim Humphrey vs. T-Beaux

In a unique match, Tim Humphrey took on T-Beaux in a Hair vs. Beard contest. Humphrey emerged victorious, and T-Beaux’s beard didn’t fare well. After a chaotic finish that involved referee Craig being knocked out, Cleve White stepped in to count the win for Humphrey.

White’s involvement sparked a reminder that "You Can't Beat Cleve!" as the night went on.

In a more sentimental moment, D.L. Rolf and Randa Lynn came to the ring to distribute free merchandise to the crowd. Rolf then surprised Randa Lynn with a proposal, which she happily accepted.

Things didn’t stay quiet for long, though, as Lil T brought out a celebratory cake, only for JJ to interrupt. Naturally, JJ ended up with cake in his face, much to the crowd’s enjoyment. D.L. Rolf later pinned Baby Dee to wrap up the segment

As things were winding down, T-Beaux returned to the ring to air his grievances, accusing Brian McDonald of causing his problems. McDonald responded by choke-slamming T-Beaux, and he and Tim Humphrey finished shaving the rest of T-Beaux’s beard in the middle of the ring, earning T-Beaux the new nickname, “Reno 911.”

It was quite the show, packed with memorable moments and some surprises. A solid start for the first FLOORAPALOOZA, and we can expect more excitement as the series continues.
