Parents in Bulloch County can share their thoughts about their child’s school by taking a quick, anonymous survey online before January 31.
Known as the Georgia School Climate Survey, it is hosted annually by the Georgia Department of Education. The results will help Bulloch County Schools and its 15 schools guide their school improvement efforts.
Every individual parent or guardian of an enrolled student is invited to complete a survey for each school where they have a child; however, if they have two children who attend the same school, each parent would only take that school's survey once. The unique survey links for each school are provided at bullochschools.org/climatesurvey. Each survey page includes the school's name to help participants ensure they provide responses for the correct school.
The Georgia Climate Survey, along with the Georgia Student Health Survey II and the Georgia School Personnel Survey which the school district is also conducting, gives parents, students and school system employees an opportunity to offer feedback about the climate and safety of local schools.
The 22-question parent survey takes about 15 minutes to complete, and it is available in both English and Spanish. Survey responses are anonymous and are submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education. If you know someone who does not have access to the Internet, they may ask to use a computer kiosk at their child’s school.
Results from the surveys will become part of the Climate Star Ratings for each school, and they will be reported as part of the 2025-2026 College and Career Ready Performance Index. This survey is different from the Title I Parent Survey that Bulloch County Schools' 13 Title I schools will conduct later this semester.
