Fans of Jonny Boy Cookies' mouthwatering creations will need to adjust their cookie routine as the beloved Statesboro shop, located at 441 South Main, closes its doors to the public Monday, December 23rd.
But fret not, cookie monsters! This isn't the end, just a sweet new chapter for Jonny Boy.
"This was a tough decision," says co-owner Hannah Womack in a special message. "Our shop has been more than just a place to buy cookies – it's been a hub for smiles, laughs, and making memories."
While the physical storefront is closing, Jonny Boy Cookies is far from finished. They'll continue to spread joy nationwide through their popular shipping and catering services. Their iconic food trucks, the "Cookie Wagon" and "Van Dough," will also remain in operation, serving up delicious treats on the go.
For local customers, online ordering for pickup and delivery will be on pause for January, with a relaunch date to be announced soon. Jonny Boy promises "fun ideas for pop-ups, local events, and seasonal specials" in the future, so stay tuned!
"We're excited for the future of Jonny Boy Cookies," says co-owner Jonny Womack, "but we will greatly miss seeing our regular smiling faces in the cookie shop!"
The store has been a favorite of the Statesboro community, and Jonny and Hannah express their immense gratitude for all the support: "We're so grateful for every visit, every chat, and every cookie you've shared with friends and family."
So, head down to Jonny Boy Cookies today for one last hurrah before they close their storefront doors. Share a memory of your favorite visit on social media, or sign up for their newsletter to stay in the loop on their future plans.
One thing's for sure: Jonny Boy Cookies may be leaving the storefront, but they're not leaving Statesboro's hearts (or stomachs!).
