The Statesboro-Bulloch County Library announced that they will close at 6PM on Monday, March 16th, and anticipate to be closed for 2 weeks as a precaution due to COVID-19.
Their statement to the public said, “Closing our doors is a difficult decision, but it is in the safety of our patrons to help reduce the spread of the virus. Please watch for updates on our Facebook page and website.”
During the closure, online services such as GALILEO, RBdigital, and eRead Kids digital library will still be available.
Curbside Pickup
Bulloch county residents can call the library at (912) 764-1341 and request up to five items, specific titles or library’s choice. You will need to provide your library card number and your name, and request a pickup time between 1PM-5PM (if calling during this time, you will still need to schedule a later pickup time.)
When you arrive at the library, have your library card number handy, and simply call and an employee will bring the items out to your car.
You will not be able to pay fines through curbside pickup. The library has stopped overdue fines beginning March 13th through any library closures due to COVID-19. The library asks that you utilize the outside book drops for returning items.
