Mrs. Angela Butler Palmer, age 66, departed this life, Wednesday, January 4, 2022, at the Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.
Angela Denise Palmer was born October 23, 1956, in Statesboro, Georgia to Dow Butler and Ada Marie Coleman Butler.
She was a member of the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church where; she remained faithful until her passing.
Angela, affectionately known as “Angie” received her formal education in the Bulloch County School System and was a graduate of Portal High School, Portal, Georgia.
Angela served her country in the United States Air Force for twenty years and retired as a master Sargent.
She is preceded in death by her loving father, Doris ‘Dow” Butler, a brother, Leonard Coleman and a sister, Juwone McGlaughlin.
Angela leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Joel Palmer; her oldest son, Cedric Harden (Marcia), her daughter, Yuoranda Walker, her youngest son, Ahmad Palmer (Phomexay); a stepdaughter, Sherese Greene; her mother Ada Butler Lloyd; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, her brother, Gregory Butler, her sister, Brenda Lovett, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
There will be no formal visitation
Graveside service and burial for Mrs. Palmer will be held, 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2022, at the Bulloch Memorial Gardens with Elder Gary Wallace, officiating.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
