It's going to be a fun time down at the Statesboro-Bulloch County Library this month with all the holiday fun they have planned for the community!

This weekend is the Christmas in Candy Land event. On December 10th, this event will host a plethora of activities for kids, food, and photo opportunities with Santa.

"We've got a game where there is a tiny little machine where [the kids] grab as much candy or little toys as we have," said Cindy Hatchell, Library Assistant Manager. "We have a beanbag toss -- just a few little games like that."

Photo opportunities with Santa will be free. But more importantly for the kids, there will be a candy buffet.

"We've got gummies, we've got Skittles, we've got candy canes; we have a whole variety of candy," said Hatchell.

Nearly all 100 slots for Candy Land have been filled, but there is plenty more scheduled at the library this month. This includes both holiday-themed and regular events. Coming up next week, families can enjoy a gift-making workshop, family ornament making, and more. In addition, the library is running a CandyLand themed scavenger hunt all month long.
