Shuman Farms is family-owned and has been in the sweet onion industry for more than 35 years. Today, they are an industry-leader and year-round grower and shipper of premium sweet onions.

The Shumans believe in giving back

They believe in giving back to the communities they serve. They created The Healthy Family Project, which has given back more than $7 million for children's charities and helps families eat healthier.

This holiday season, they are offering 5 meals donated to Statesboro's Food Bank for every ticket purchased through the Georgia Southern Ticket Office for the Camelia Bowl -- up to twenty-five thousand meals!

For them, it is more than just onions. According to John and Mark Shuman, "It's about growing a family, a business, a culture of giving back, and a product that we're proud to share."

You can view a video from GS Quarterback Kyle Vantrease below about this project.

Kyle states in the video, "Help us make this a #RealSweet holiday season for our neighbors, and let's cheer on the Eagles one more time!"
