The Southeast Bulloch High School (SEB) Flag Football team defeated Harris County 13-0 in the GHSA Div. A-4A State Championship on Thursday, December 8, 2022. The championship was held at the Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta. This win allows them to claim their second straight state championship in the team's two-year history.
They finished the season with a perfect 19-0 season. This is the seventh straight shutout for the Lady Yellow Jackets and their 14th shutout of opponents this season. This brings their two-year record to 39-0. They are the number one ranked flag football team in the nation.
Congratulations to Coach Marci Cochran, her staff, the student athletes, the school and their fans. It's an exciting day for them to bring back another state title to Bulloch County.
Brooklet Community Comes Out
The Brooklet Community came out to welcome the team home on Thursday night. The team arrived back to the school around 7:30 PM with a VIP Bulloch County Sheriff's department escort and fireworks. See video below:
The community gave the ladies a well deserved champions style welcome home. It was an exciting night for ladies to bring back another state title to Bulloch County.
