Family Nurse Practitioner Erica Lanier has opened ThrIVe Health and Wellness, a new primary care facility in Statesboro. ThrIVe is an all-encompassing wellness facility offering primary care, along with additional services like diabetic education, chronic weight management, and IV infusion therapy.

The business is currently accepting new patients and appointments. The physical location will open on January 3, 2023, at 1058 Bermuda Run.

Quality care and individual needs

Lanier's background in the healthcare industry is as a nurse practitioner. Lanier was previously an ER nurse before pursuing an advanced degree to become a family nurse practitioner. She has been an FNP for six years now, and throughout her years of experience, she has developed a top-tier bedside manner. Her skillset has made her a well-known and highly requested provider in our area.

Lanier has always wanted to open her own primary care facility, though, and shared her motivations for this new venture. Her greatest motivation will continue to be the quality care of her patients. This quality of care will be evident in both her customer care and bedside manner, which she says will be of vital importance to her practice.

Lanier also plans to craft individualized plans and customized services to serve her patients on an individual-needs basis. Using her years of experience in the primary care sector, she has been able to tailor her new business processes to her own business goals.

ThrIVe brings to fruition lifelong dream

Lanier is a local trailblazer in the sense that she is a nurse practitioner, rather than a physician, opening a primary care practice. She is one of the first nurse practitioners to own a clinic in Statesboro offering all-encompassing primary care services. She will have a board-certified cardiologist and ER physician on her team daily for further support.

Moving forward, Lanier hopes to establish an incredible patient-provider relationship, nurture a local reputation for quality care, and eventually expand her business.

She is overjoyed at the fruition of this lifelong dream of hers.

She says, "This is truly a monumental moment for me. Coming into my business on the side of completely owning it has been a surreal experience. I am excited to grow my clientele and build the reputation of my business moving forward.”

Finally, Lanier gives special thanks to Dr. Kendall Griffith (Cardiologist) and Dr. Douglas Sommers (ER Physician). She says, “Dr. Kendall Griffith has truly opened the door for this opportunity. Dr. Douglas Sommers will be my medical director, and I wouldn’t be able to run this practice without his support.”

January Special: Lipo Plus

ThrIVe offers an individualized weight management program. Lipo Plus injections are used as an “add on” to the program to burn fat cells and expedite desired results. Patients who sign up with their first appointment in the month of January will receive their first Lipo Plus injection for free.
