Hollis Terry "Tet" Mainer, Sr.

October 22, 1956 - December 5, 2022

Mr. Hollis Terry “TET” Mainer, age 66 made his transition to be with the Lord on Monday, December 5, 2022 at East Georgia Regional Center after a long illness.

  He was a native of Bulloch County, was baptized at an early age at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Register, GA.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and last employed by Georgia Southern University

 He is survived by his wife, Dawn Prince-Mainer, Statesboro; a daughter, Dana Mainer, Statesboro; four sons, Hollis Terry Mainer, Jr, Hartford, CT, Victor Gross, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Ronnie Gross, Live Oak, FL and Antonio Gross, Statesboro and a step-son, Devin Prince (Alecia), Atlanta; two brothers, Marvin Mainer (Betty), Ft. Lauderdale and Lepolin Mainer, Statesboro; GA; one sister, Brenda Faye Moore (Charles) Statesboro; step sisters, Marie Robertson and Gail Murray both of Statesboro and adopted sisters, Debra Allen (Bobby Cody) Statesboro and Jacqueline Gilliam (Kevin) Clinton, MD; two aunts, Eddie Ruth Jackson, Oakland, FL and Annette Thompson, Orlando, FL; his father-in-law Deacon James Prince, SR (Sarah), Statesboro, 9 grandchildren and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 A Celebration of life for Mr. Mainer will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022  at 1:30 P.M. St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Pastor, Reverend Shun Newsome, eulogist and Pastor Lisa Deloach, presiding. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.

 Public viewing for Mr. Mainer will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
