Pure Wellness & Spa had its grand opening on Nov. 2 at 204 S. Main Street and is now open for business. This business offers both women and men wellness and rejuvenation services for their natural features, offering aesthetically pleasing guidance for beautiful, healthy, and youthful looking skin. The facility is open from 9am to 6pm from Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.
From ideas to reality
Alan Skipper and Olivia Estrada have invested hundreds of hours into opening this business. After talking about it for years, they just decided to dive in. They say that this is an art for them, and having an aesthetic eye and being creative toward science-based knowledge is incredibly fascinating. Skipper and Estrada want to keep a close-knit, family feeling of privacy and make their patients feel comfortable and build trust.
"Our passion is where we came up with our slogan, which is 'where wellness meets beauty,' Estrada said. "That's exactly how we interpret this whole brand, and what we bring to it."
Alan Skipper, owner of Pure Wellness & Spa, owns several assisted living facilities but having also been a nurse practitioner for 12 years, he decided to further his business mindset in studying aesthetic medicine.
"I went to Chicago and was trained by one of the best in the country on neuromodulators, which is Botox and Dysport as well as dermal fillers," Skipper said. “The practice of aesthetic medicine combines a deep understanding of medical science, facial anatomy, and art which is absolutely fascinating as a provider.”
For now, Pure Wellness & Spa will offer fillers and Botox and will add weight management, sport physicals, and hormone replacement in the future.
Coming Soon in Spring 2023
Customers of Pure Wellness will receive a free consultation and a full assessment of their face and the aging process. The focus of the consultation will be full face rejuvenation.
Estrada is currently in esthetician school and plans to work with Skipper in Spring 2023 on full facial services.
"We can't wait to make people feel better about themselves and the skin they are in," Estrada said.
