The Averitt Center for the Arts announced yesterday that Rahn Hutcheson has officially resigned from his position as the Executive Director of The Averitt Center for the Arts.

The Board of Directors at the center is currently reviewing options to fill the position permanently. In the interim period, Robert Faller has stepped in to serve as an Interim Executive Director.

Faller has been with the Averitt Center for the past sixteen years, serving as
Technical Director and Production Manager.

With his experience and the senior leadership at the Averitt Center, the Board of Directors is confident the Averitt Center will continue to make available a broad range of experiences in the performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, heritage arts, and general arts education for the citizens of Statesboro, Bulloch County, and surrounding areas.

The Averitt Center for the Arts invites the public to enjoy its upcoming productions of Young Frankenstein and An Evening of Country and Gospel at the Emma Kelly Theatre and the October Paint-n-Party at the Roxie Remley Center for Fine Arts, as well as the
Elsie Hill Howington exhibit in the main gallery.

The Averitt Center thanks the public for its continued support.
