The mission of the Hi-Lo Trail is to build a 211-mile paved trail that will serve to drive economic development through connectivity and empowerment of rural Georgia. When complete, the Hi-Lo Trail will connect the Firefly Trail from Union Point to Athens and then on to Savannah. This would be the longest paved trail in America, connecting small towns all along the way.

There is a 3-day road ride option and a 5-day gravel ride option.

The cyclists will arrive in Statesboro on Saturday, October 22, and spend the night in town. They will depart from Visit Statesboro on South Main Street on Sunday morning at 8am.

If you see cyclists in town this weekend, make sure to give them a warm Boro welcome and look out for their safety on the road!
