This week, The Lodge at Bethany joined tens of thousands of assisted living communities across the nation in celebration of Assisted Living week.

“Now that we are able to have visitors come and go more freely after the toughest times of the pandemic, we have once again been able to enjoy the Community of Care and have loved experiencing the joy that families, volunteers, and other visitors bring to our residents,” said Becky Livingston, chief executive officer for The Lodge at Bethany.

NALW is coordinated by the American Health Care Association. It is a week-long celebration of individuals who choose and embrace living in an Assisted Living Community, such as The Lodge at Bethany.

The theme of this year’s NALW was ‘joyful moments’, which aimed to “honor the assisted living staff, communities, residents, and families that come together as a large extended family to create joyful moments and special memories together.”

“We are so excited to highlight the truly joyful moments,” said Livingston.

Spa Day

The Lodge highlighted its staff and residents’ favorite joyful memories through a series of social media videos, which can be viewed on Facebook.

Additionally, every day of the week featured a unique event, including:
