Agribusiness, one of Bulloch County's top industries, will be on full display in Downtown Statesboro this October.
The Statesboro-Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority to host the Boro's annual First Friday Ag Night Out on October 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on East Main St. The event will take place rain or shine.
The community is invited to enjoy this farm-themed, family-friendly evening that allows attendees to get an up-close view of the local agriculture industry.
The event will feature:
- A variety of locally grown foods
- Live entertainment from The Ripleys
- Educational farm exhibits
- Farm animals
- Tractor displays
- More than 60 vendors
- A Party Harbor bouncy
- A photo booth
- A farm-themed costume contest for children
A special presentation from the Bulloch County Historical Society will also take place following the singing of the national anthem on the main stage. The Historical Society will dedicate its newest mural, River People, which is located on West Main in Downtown Statesboro.
