Bulloch home heavily damaged by fire early Monday morning

At 4:47 am Monday, June 27, 2022 Bulloch County 911 dispatched the Bulloch and Statesboro Fire Departments to a house fire in the 500 block of Lem Lanier Road. The initial call reported heavy fire and visible flames from the manufactured home.

At 4:47 am Monday, June 27, 2022 Bulloch County 911 dispatched the Bulloch and Statesboro Fire Departments to a house fire in the 500 block of Lem Lanier Road.

The initial call reported heavy fire and visible flames from the manufactured home. The home is located 17 miles from Statesboro off of the Nevils Groveland road.

The first firefighters to arrive on the scene reported that the home was fully involved. They began a defensive attack on the fire. The home was reported to be heavily damaged by fire.

There were no injuries. The Red Cross Disaster Action Team has been requested for one female resident of the home.

Bulloch County EMS responded long with Bulloch County Sheriff's department responded to assist.

At the time of this story firefighters remain on the scene of the fire overhauling the structure making sure all of the fire is out.
