DOT has paused construction for Memorial Day Travel
Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory

Memorial Day holiday work restrictions will be in place by DOT beginning Friday, May 27, at noon until Tuesday, May 31, at 5 a.m. No lane closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic will be conducted during these time frames.

Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia. As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, May 28 through Friday, June 4.

All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling thru work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.

Interstate 516  

From Mildred St. To Railroad Bridge

  • Shoulder Paving and Grinding Operations
