Bulloch County residents are waking up to no power, cold temperatures and trees down across the county this morning.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Department, Bulloch County Public Works and Georgia Department of Transportation are battling trees down all over Bulloch County. Because of potential hazards in the road way they are urging you to use extreme caution while traveling this morning.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.

Bulloch County remains under a Wind Advisory until noon, Monday, January 3, 2022.

Heavy rain and winds continued throughout the night with a cold front moving through. Citizens are waking up to very cold temps in the high 40's with wind chill's making it feel like the low 40's. It is not going to get much warmer as the day progresses.

Power Outages across Bulloch

Red lights are out due to power outages. This is causing additional issues with morning travel.

Excelsior EMS is reporting 1,432 without power in Bulloch County at 6:22 am, January 3, 2022.

Georgia Power is reporting 508 without power in Bulloch County at 6:22 am, January 3, 2022.

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* WHERE...All of southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia. * WHEN...Until noon EST today.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
