“JonPaul loved the game of soccer and playing for his club, Tormenta FC. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The JonPaul Gonzalez Scholarship Fund to give the opportunity for a child to play the game JP loved so much.”

Christina Galbreath-Gonzalez, mother of JonPaul

The Ibis Foundation will accept donations in memory of JP which will go towards funding one chosen TFC Academy player’s team and uniform fees each year, starting with TFC Academy’s 2022 season.

“We are absolutely heartbroken for JP and his family. A great friend, leader, and soccer player; JP stood for all that is good in growing up in an amazing family that is committed to each other's successes. We loved having JP as a member of the Tormenta family and will forever cherish the warm memories we all made together on and off the soccer field. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones, as well as everyone who’s been impacted by this tragic loss.”
