Tuesday evening, August 31, as the sun set and a gentle cool breeze blew across the parking lot of EGRMC, Bulloch countians came together. Citizens, first responders, staff and family members of the critically ill inside came together to pray for our health care workers and patients fighting the COVID surge.

The brief service was led by Stephen Pennington, CEO of EGRMC along with EGRMC's volunteer chaplains including Reverend Joey Fennell, Reverend James Byrd and Deacon John O'Malley.

Pennington thanked the community for all of their encouragement and support and praised the talented men and women who are working tirelessly every day to care for our friends and loved ones battling COVID.

Each of the chaplains offer prayers and words of encouragement  for all medical personnel, their patients and families, and for our community as a whole.
