Madison Bussell got her first win of the season with four innings of work with Payten Strickland closing out the final two innings for the Lady Bobcats who are now 2 and 0 at home.

"We provided great run support for our pitchers Tuesday,” stated the Bobcat’s Head Coach Chuck Wimberly after the victories. “Game one was a pitcher’s duel and Britney Foster did really well holding on and getting the victory for us on the mound. Game two saw our bats come alive and post 13 runs which makes pitching a little easier.  Alaina Lee and McKenzie Wilkerson both caught great games for us behind the plate, and Madison Bussell and Payten Strickland may have pitched their best games collegiately. Defensively we made no mistakes and that was key in our victories."
